We offer you an excursion to a region famous for its wine traditions since the Roman times. Small Carpathian Wine Route (Malokarpatska Vinna Cesta) is the name of the oldest Slovakian Wine Route, in the region stretching from Bratislava to Trnava. It leads through 25 beautiful cities (as Svaty Jur, Rezinok and Modra) and small villages, which are situated in mountainous region in south-west part of Slovakia. In the past these towns were famous for production of high-class wine and their products were very popular amongst prominent people from Bratislava and Vienna. Today there are more than 80 wineries in this Route.
Vineyards of the regions cover about 1/3 of the whole Slovakian vineyard area.The main products/specialities of “The Wine Region” are: Modry Portugal, Frankovka, Modra, Rizling, Rynsky, Rizling Vlassky and Veltlinske Zelena, Vlassky Riesling, Rhine Riesling, Gruner Veltliner and white Burgundy, Frankovka of Raca, St. Laurent.
As the wine route offers not only the beauty of the vineyard landscape, we will prepare special attractions for you like visits in Wine Museums and Wine Saloons with some wine tasting which will make this trip a perfect choice for those who are looking for relax and laid-back tour during their stay in Bratislava.
